A devoted educator, Anneke has maintained a private cello studio since 2003, and teaches cello and chamber music at the Bard Conservatory of Music Preparatory Program. She has previously been on faculty for both cello lessons and chamber music at the Hudson River School of Music and the Platte Clove School. 

Her teaching focuses on playing comfortably and creating beautiful sound while progressing through interesting music appropriate to your level. She enjoys teaching students of all ages and levels: from small children to advanced young people to older adults who have always dreamed of playing the cello. All you need is a cello and a curious mind! 

Anneke offers in-home cello lessons in both the New York City and Ulster County areas, as well as private lessons via Skype or Zoom from anywhere!
